Roof repair in Cobb County โ€” diagnosed first, quoted second

When you call Kennesaw Pro Roofing for a repair, you get a written diagnosis before you ever see a price โ€” what failed, why it failed, and whether a repair or a replacement is the honest answer for your home. We repair roofs across Kennesaw, Marietta, Acworth, Smyrna, Powder Springs and the rest of Cobb County; we do not sell work we would not recommend on our own homes. The first visit is always an inspection, and the estimate is always written.

What we repair

Most roof repair calls fall into one of six categories. If yours fits one of these, we can usually scope, quote, and schedule within 5 business days.

Leaks and water intrusion

Ceiling stains, drips during storms, attic moisture. We trace the path, find the entry point, and fix it at the source โ€” not just the symptom.

Read scope notes โ†’

Missing or lifted shingles

Wind-lifted tabs, hail-spalled shingles, nail-pops, and the curls you start seeing in Year 12 of a builder-grade install.

See repair examples โ†’

Flashing and step transitions

Chimney flashing, sidewall step flashing, kick-out at roof-to-wall transitions โ€” almost always where leaks start on older homes.

How we flash โ†’

Pipe boots and vents

Plumbing stack boots crack around Year 8โ€“12. We replace with a lead or high-temp boot, never the cheap plastic ones.

Replacement parts โ†’

Ridge vents and caps

Bent back, missing, or popping loose. We replace in continuous sections so the seam never lands right above a leak-prone area.

Vent code notes โ†’

Skylight seals and flashing

Older skylights with failing gaskets; we re-flash rather than upsell a full skylight replacement unless the frame is shot.

How we price a repair

Repairs are scoped, not estimated. After the inspection you receive a written line-itemized quote covering materials, labor, debris disposal, and warranty โ€” every line item, no padded allowance line.

A

Inspection credited to the repair

If you move forward, the inspection fee applies to the repair total. No double-charge for the same visit.

B

Materials matched

We match your existing system as closely as the manufacturer still produces that shingle.

C

Labor in hours

Labor described in hours, scoped to the actual repair area โ€” never by the day.

D

Disposal broken out

Disposal and clean-up broken out โ€” we do not bury it.

E

Two-year workmanship warranty

Two-year workmanship warranty on every repair we do. Manufacturer warranty passes through in writing.

F

Match-difference disclosure

If we cannot match the existing shingle, we will tell you in writing before you sign.

When repair is not the right answer

There are three cases where we will tell you straight up that a repair would be a waste of money:

If any of these apply, we will write up the case for replacement and point you to our replacement page or our free quote review.

Repair FAQ

How fast can you get here for a leak?

Emergency tarps usually same-day; permanent repairs within 5 business days of approval. Call the 24/7 storm line if water is actively entering the home.

Will a repair match my existing shingles?

As closely as the manufacturer still produces that shingle. If we cannot match, we will tell you in writing before you sign anything โ€” and we will scope a partial re-shingle rather than a spot patch.

Do repairs come with a warranty?

Two years on workmanship from Kennesaw Pro Roofing. Manufacturer warranty on materials passes through to you in writing.

Should I file an insurance claim for a repair?

Most repairs below the deductible are not worth a claim. We will tell you straight if it is not.

Want us to look before you commit?

A repair-quality inspection that ends with a written diagnosis, not a sales pitch.
